The event will be hosted by VolunteeringACT’s CEO, Jean Giese.
What will be covered?
- Hear from Volunteering Australia CEO Mark Pearce about how the volunteering landscape has changed and how we can leverage the events of 2020 to further enhance the pivotal role volunteers play in creating a more connected, diverse, and resilient Australia.
- Mental health educator extraordinaire Heidi Prowse, CEO of Mental lllness Education ACT, will walk attendees through how to create a mentally healthy volunteer engagement framework. Whether you’re just starting out, or you have established programs, this session will provide helpful tips on how to position volunteers at the forefront of everything you do.

- And finally, all the way from the United Kingdom, volunteer management guru Rob Jackson will help us prepare for the future of volunteer management in a COVID world and beyond.
