The MAP Program supports young people in the Canberra region to become more resilient, connected and job-ready by coupling mental health training with a job readiness workshop and volunteering. COVID-19 has had a significant impact on employment, with young people being disproportionately affected by job losses. This program will seek to support people who are: - Aged 18-30 - Seeking Employment The MAP Program training comprises sessions hosted by Lifeline Canberra and Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT), a job-readiness workshop, and an introduction to volunteering. After completing training, participants can then schedule their volunteering experience at a time that is convenient for them and their chosen Volunteer Including Organisation.
